The enterprise performs a full range of works on testing (both preliminary and receiving) pipelines of the drinking water supply network for strength (tightness) by the hydrostatic method using its own equipment and materials necessary to provide this type of service. The work is carried out on the basis of a signed contract..

To conclude a contract, the customer must apply with a letter addressed to the director of the enterprise, where length and diameter of the drinking water supply network for testing indicated

The work is carried out in accordance with STB 2072-2010 * "Installation of external networks and water supply and sewerage facilities" Quality control of work and TCP 45-01-272-2012 "External networks and water supply and sewerage facilities" Installation rules.

The enterprise prepares the necessary documentation in accordance with the requirements of STB 2072-2010 * "Installation of external networks and water supply and sewerage facilities" Quality control of work (hydraulic test certificate) and transfers it to the customer.

The calculation of the cost of services is made in accordance with the time norms for maintenance and repair of water supply and sewerage facilities for 2019, approved by order of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Belarus No. 32 dated April 19, 2019.

Applied equipment:

A pressure gauge in accordance with GOST 2405 with an upper measurement limit of 2.5 MPa and an accuracy class of at least 1,5;

Self-priming electric hydraulic pressure testing pump VIRAX 262070, designed for water supply pipelines pressure test.

Process description 

Check for tightness and strength is carried out after the installation of water supply networks is completed. According to the requirements of STB 2072-2010 *, the test for tightness and strength must be performed twice. The pipeline is tested hydraulically.

The hydraulic method has a peculiarity: when using it, pipes can be displaced. To prevent this from happening, the ends of the pipe must be plugged with blind flanges, and then fixed with stops. The next stage is filling the pipeline with water (for this, a temporary water supply is used). During the filling process, you need to monitor the air outlet from the pipes through the valve, which is installed at the highest point of the tested area.

During the check of the network without fittings, the pressure is increased to the project pressure and the communication is being tested for 10 minutes. The assembled pipeline communication is kept under pressure for 15 minutes.

The pressure during testing (MPa (kgf / sq.cm)) may differ depending on what material the pipes are made of. The value of the test pressure for preliminary tests is determined in accordance with Table E.2 STB 2072-2010 *, based on the working pressure in the network determined by the project.
